It's very humbling to realize how loved you are and how many people, near and far, care about you. I know I am going into unknown territory and granted, it will be dangerous, but the outpouring of care, concern and genuine love has been overwhelming. I am so blessed!

Throughout my career I have traveled across the world to places I never dreamed of visiting. Most of my job related travels have taken me to villages, towns and cities that tourists would never consider going. This job has been amazing and unpredictable! But today I enter into the unknown - a never before experienced adventure. I have no idea what to expect - no concept of what being "embedded" with military really is. What lies ahead?
